The 401st BGA at the Garden of the Gods in 2012
Colorado Springs, CO – The 401st BGA will be joining with 8th Air Force Historical Society (8AFHS) for its 51st Annual Reunion, scheduled to take place October 1–5, 2025, at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Colorado Springs. This year’s event marks a milestone as the Society also celebrates the 50th anniversary of its founding.
Veterans, members, and guests will gather for five days of remembrance, education, and camaraderie. The itinerary features keynote addresses from high-ranking military officials, including General Gregory M. Guillot of NORAD and General Stephen N. Whiting of U.S. Space Command.
United States Air Force Academy Cadet Chapel
Attendees can look forward to a lineup of historically rich tours, including:
- A scenic Jeep tour through the Garden of the Gods and Cheyenne Canyon
- A guided visit to the U.S. Air Force Academy
- A self-guided experience at the National Museum of World War II Aviation
In addition to educational activities, the reunion offers a series of evening dinners culminating in a formal gala banquet on Saturday night. Registration is open to current 8AFHS members and their guests, with options to join or renew memberships on the form.
Hotel accommodations are available at the DoubleTree, with overflow arrangements secured at two nearby properties. Hospitality suites are limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
The deadline for registration is September 1, 2025. Organizers urge participants to reserve early, especially for hotel rooms and popular tours with limited space.
