03/14/2014 - Mission Reports are now available!

We are pleased to announce that Mission Reports for each mission undertaken by the 401st are now available to download. These reports contain actual documents, data and imagery recorded during the war and are available to be accessed by all. To download these reports, simply go to either the Missions page or to the page for a specific mission. These documents require Adobe Acrobat Reader in order for you to read them.

We continue to make progress on our Historical Research Project.

Web Site Updates

We have been busy making additions and improvements to the website:

• The database has been enhanced to allow us to to enter the crewmen and aircraft that were flown on each mission.
• Vic Maslen’s 401st Unit Histories (in searchablePDF format) have been added to our web site.   These documents were previously available to only a select few individuals, (including the 401st Group Historian), and served as the original source for crew and mission information stored on this website.
• We continue to make additions to the Leaders page. The page is incomplete, but we are working to make bring this page up to date before the end of December 2011.
